Angaben zur Abhaltung
Varying topics focusing on computational photonics and nanoelectronics are presented by external speakers. The participants will choose a specific topic from a list. They will individually study scientific literature, based on which they write a report. They will furthermore present their results, which will also includes a subsequent discussion of the
topic.

After the successful completion of this module, the students will be able to

- apply methods of literature research to get familiar with a scientific topic in computational photonics and nanoelectronics

- evaluate the literature sources

- write a scientific report

- present their results to a professional audience

Each participant works on an individually assigned topic chosen from a list. This happens primarily in independent individual work of students.

The participant will be assigned to a supervisor, depending on the chosen topic. The supervisor helps the student by giving an introduction to the topic and providing appropriate literature to start with. Furthermore, the supervisor gives helpful advice for literature research as well as for preparing the report and the presentation.
