|
The seminar offers insights into IT law in public administrations which are targeted to
students who want to work in public administrations as well as to the ones who wish to work in the private sector and have government organizations as future customers.
The seminar will be held by an expert in IT law working at the Bavarian State Chancellery.
The seminar deals with
- basics of IT law in the public sector,
- E-Government Act (BayEGovG, EGovG Bund and De-Mail-Act),
- basics of law regarding IT security (basics BSI-Act, TKG, and TMG, link to BayDSG),
- basics of law regarding IT procurement (GWB, VOL/A, VgV) and
- special contract requirements for IT contracts of the public sector (EVB-IT). |

| Students acquire differentiated knowledge about the conditions of IT usage within public administrations. Students can define important terms of IT law in public administrations. Furthermore, students understand and apply the basics of the E-Government Act, the law of IT security and the law of IT procurement. |

The module consists of a lecture. Contents are taught in lecture and presentations. |
